Dr. Andy Jennings is an independent researcher who has worked on numerous small carnivore field projects in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and has completed several ecological niche modelling studies on Southeast Asian mongooses, civets, and linsangs. He is a member of the IUCN/SCC Small Carnivore Specialist Group, and has published many scientific papers, articles and books on small carnivores, including the Mongooses of the World and the Herpestidae, Viverridae and Mustelidae chapters of the Handbook of the Mammals of the World. Geraldine Veron_1

Professor Géraldine Veron is a researcher and curator of mammals at the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, France. She has worked for over 20 years on the systematics, ecology and conservation of mongooses, civets, and Malagasy carnivores. Géraldine has conducted many field projects, mainly in Asia, and has published over 70 scientific papers, articles and books, including the Mongooses of the World and the Herpestidae and Viverridae chapters of the Handbook of the Mammals of the World. Volume 1: Carnivores. She is a member of the IUCN/SCC Small Carnivore Specialist Group.
